Sunday Scriptures — God is Our Refuge

There is none like the God of Jerusalem—He descends from the heavens in majestic splendor to help you. The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms.  Deuteronomy 33:26-27a  (TLB)

This truth which Moses told the Israelites before his death, is as true for us today, as it was all those many, many centuries ago. God is our Refuge. His everlasting arms hold us secure. There is none like him.

Regardless of what we may be going through, God loves us. Like a father who loves his child, God is there. Holding. Comforting. Protecting. He will never leave or forsake us.

When the storms of life threaten to undo us, we must never forget God is like none other. His arms are under us, carrying us safely to the other side.

I wish you well.
