Give thanks to the Lord. Call on his name. Make known among the nations what he has done. 1 Chronicles 16:8

Part of giving thanks, is letting others know what God has done for us. We can, and should, thank God for the wonderful things he gives us, the things he gets us through, and the things he keeps us from. But in addition to our gratitude, we should tell others about our LORD, and what he’s done.

When we find a good doctor, hairdresser, store, etc, that we know our friends would benefit from knowing about, don’t we share that information with them? Don’t we want them to experience the good we’ve found? If we’ll share the name of our doctor, shouldn’t we share what God is doing for us, just as eagerly?

Why keep the Good News to ourselves? Don’t we want others to have things from God to be thankful for?
