Is it just me, or does it seem like things keep changing all the time?
Foods that were good for us yesterday, aren’t good for us today. And vise versa.
Medicine that was a cure-all yesterday, is toxic today.
Medical procedures unheard of yesterday are touted as life savers today.
Life isn’t static, I know, and I really am grateful for the advancements we enjoy. Especially the one where we no longer believe in the worth of leeches and blood letting. Shuddering in horror.
With all the changes surrounding us, there is something that will never change. Jesus’ love. He is as constant as the northern star. His promises are as true today as they were when he first spoke them. Following Christ won’t be one of those things that is proclaimed as good for us today. Deadly tomorrow.
Jesus is, always has been, and always will be, the Risen Savior, King and Lord who conquered death.
Jesus is preparing a place for us. He promised he will come back, and he will. You can count on it.
Tired of the things continually changing? Reach out to Jesus. He’s the stability we can cling to.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8 (NIV)
I wish you well.
