Pause for Poetry — Always Know

by Sandy Kirby Quandt

Sincere apologies if you received a Pause for Poetry draft Thursday, April 30. It was an operator error on my part.

Welcome to Pause for Poetry featuring a poem written by my writer-friend, Shirley Specht Johnson.

 Always Know
By Shirley Specht Johnson

Always know God’s word is true,

no matter what men say.

Always Know Jesus hears you,

He hears you when you pray.

Always know his love for you is

oh so tender and true.

Always Know His forgiveness flows

and His mercy too.

Always walk with Jesus and know

you will never be alone.

Always know the prayers you’ve prayed

go continually before the throne.

Shirley Specht Johnson loves to share inspiration and encouragement through her writing. She is a member of SCBWI and is currently participating in 12X12. She loves to read and has volunteered at her local Public Library as an Adult Literacy Tutor. She shares moments of inspiration and her writing life at her blog.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on the subject. Leave a comment below. If you think others would appreciate reading this please share it through the social media buttons.

I wish you well.
