God’s Gift To Us

Still cloaked in His divinity,
Christ stepped into humanity.
Encompassed by virginity,
He entered in simplicity.

There was no Christmas greenery,
No pomp, nor fancy scenery,
Just boundless love for you and me…
Christ’s destination—Calvary.

If we’ll believe He set us free,
Christ promises that we will be
With Him for all eternity…
His priceless gift of victory.

Frances Gregory Pasch’s devotions and poems have been published hundreds of times in devotional booklets, magazines, and Sunday school papers since 1985. Her writing has also appeared in several dozen compilations.
