Happy New Year everyone!
I hope 2019 proves to be your best year yet as we each move forward in expectation to see what God has in store for us.
Following the unplanned and unexpected deactivation of Woven and Spun in November, where even I couldn’t get into my blog, I am overjoyed to announce Woven and Spun is back. Thank you, Jesus. While it is possible some blips may crop up along the way, I wanted to get this post out to you today.
I’ve missed posting each week, and look forward to getting the words I believe God gives me out to you through Woven and Spun.
My heartfelt thanks to each of you for your patience as I struggled, and I do mean struggled, with resolving this most recent problem. Many thanks go out to those who faithfully prayed for a resolution.
I am especially grateful for the excellent support I received from the security analyst at Wordfence Support who worked so tirelessly to resolve the issue. He definitely went way above and beyond. I highly recommend Wordfence Support to any of you who have a blog.
During these past weeks, I’ve questioned whether to continue writing posts, or delete the blog altogether. Many hours and tears were spent talking with God and seeking his will in all of this.
For now, here is the direction I believe I should go.
I will continue posting encouraging devotions, gluten-free recipes, and book reviews on Tuesday and Thursday. I will discontinue adding music videos, since it seems they take up a lot of server space. Occasional guest posts will appear. Making these changes, I believe, will give me more time to devote to writing middle grade, young adult, and women’s novels.
Of course, as with all man-made plans God can change this, right? So, let’s see how things go for now.
Again, thank you for not giving up on Woven and Spun.
I appreciate each of you, and look forward to seeing where God leads us as we journey through life together.
To God be the glory great things he has done. Amen?
