Waiting

by Frances Gregory Pasch

Waiting for answers

Is part of God’s plan

To strengthen our faith

As we rest in His hands.

We don’t like to wait,

We want answers now.

We know He could grant them

He surely knows how.

Yet He puts us on hold

Doesn’t give us a reason

For His plans yield fruit

In His perfect season.

So while we are waiting

We stretch and we grow

For His timing is perfect,

Not fast or too slow.
