Pause for Poetry — Don’t Wait

Welcome to Pause for Poetry featuring a poem written by my writer-friend, Frances Gregory Pasch.

Don’t Wait

Ideas are so elusive

We need to write them down.

We think that we’ll remember

But often we have found

That when we try to capture them

They are no longer there…

The special thoughts we treasured

Have vanished in the air.

So write them down the minute

They come into your mind—

Then you’ll have a legacy

That you can leave behind.
