Pause for Poetry — How Will They See Jesus?

by Sandy Kirby Quandt

Welcome to Pause for Poetry featuring a poem written by my writer-friend, Shirley Specht Johnson.

How Will They See Jesus?

by Shirley Specht Johnson

How will they see Jesus,
if my words are unkind?

How will they see Jesus,
if I murmur all the time?

How will they see Jesus,
if I wallow in my pain?

How will they see Jesus,
if compassion and love I refrain?

How will they see Jesus,
if my light is oh so dim?

How will they see Jesus,
if I block the view of Him?
