Friends, apologies for this additional blog post, but I recently received an email from my friend, JJ, in Palmer, Alaska, informing me of the fire that is consuming Willow, Alaska.
Please, please, please pray for all the folks who have lost their homes and possessions, pray for safety for those emergency personnel who are responding, and for those still in the path of the inferno, that the blaze will soon be extinguished.
Wish we could send them some of the rain my area is receiving.
One of those who lost her home is Iditarod sled dog musher, DeeDee Jonrowe. Fortunately, she was able to save her dogs.
